Job Title: I.T Business Support Engineer – Level 2

Main duties will include:

  • Providing phone and email IT support to our clients via our client helpdesk facility
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving
  • Support the existing team occasionally with on-site support and new system installations
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with our client contacts
  • Be commercially aware and look to upsell services and products as opportunities arise during the provision of IT support.
  • Offering advice.

You may be expected to provide assistance when required at peak times in the workshop with repairs to all types of PC & Laptop, fault diagnosis, board repairs, screen replacements and software/hardware upgrades. (training will be provided as required)

Soft Skills and Interests:

  • Must enjoy working with the general public
  • Have a polite, friendly and helpful manner
  • Be confident and cheerful
  • Smart appearance

 Requirements:

  • Must be ambitious and be of a pro-active nature
  • Ideally will have 3-5 years experience in an IT support role
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Qualification
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Great attitude towards work and others
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Confident
  • Able to work as part of a team but also be able to work independently
  • Hard working, reliable and honest
  • Driving License

Advantage: 

  • Broad Knowledge of I.T. products and services
  • Computer repair skills
  • Typical hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm. You will be required to work occasionally outside of these hours to meet the needs of the business.

Job Title: Senior I.T Business Support engineer – Level 3

Main duties will include:

  • Providing Level 3 phone and email IT support to our clients via our client helpdesk facility
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving
  • On-site support and new system installations
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with our client contacts
  • Designing I.T Infrastructures (interpreting the client’s current and future requirements, specifying and designing the solutions, managing procurement, managing the installation and commissioning process).
  • Be commercially aware and look to upsell services and products as opportunities arise during the provision of IT support.
  • Offering advice.

  • Must enjoy working with the general public
  • Have a polite, friendly and helpful manner
